CEC 1 is dedicated to transparency and access to information. We encourage you to explore the links below to find out more information about District 1.

Annual demographic enrollment snapshots are available from the DOE for school years 2010-2011 to 2015-2015. Data are presented for citywide, borough, district and school levels. Data are disaggregated by student populations (disability status, English Language Learner status, race/ethnicity and gender). See the demographic snapshot from 2/3/2016 and from 1/11/17 (with Pre-K for All data) and the latest K-12 & Pre-K data from April 2017.

More demographic information is available in the Reports on Demographic Data in NYC Public Schools in Response to Local Law No. 59. See the 2015-2016 report and the 2014-2015 report.

The 2016 School Performance Dashboard “combines multiple years of data from School Quality Reports and displays schools’ results and key comparison in visual form to show trends, patterns, strengths, areas for improvement, and areas for further investigation” (DOE Performance & Accountability page).

The Independent Budget Office put together a February 2017 presentation on Students in Temporary Housing and Their School Success, including some D1-specific data.

Test results through 2015-2016 are available on the DOE’s website.
